Dr. "Jack" Baker is an independent practicing clinical psychologist and human resource consultant with offices in New Windsor, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona.  He holds the Diplomate in Clinical Psychology and has been elected a Fellow to the Academy of Clinical Psychology (FAClinP). 

Jack graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Psychology.  He received his M.A. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.  From 1967 to 1971, Jack served as a  Major in the U.S. Army, stationed at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C., Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver and as Assistant Professor and Director of Cadet Counseling at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. 

Dr. Baker is a member of the American Psychological Association.  He has written and/or presented contributions to scientific meetings and journals as well as trade magazines in such areas as Psychology of Selling, Professional Development, Motivation, Stress, Family Business, Marketing and Management, Peril in Industry, Team Building, Quality Assurance, Health Care and Wellness. 

Dr. Baker has consulted with business, educational and service organizations across all continents.  As the principal of BCV Associates, his organizational and personnel development responsibilities have been with multinational corporations conducting lecture series, team building workshops, assessment programs and individual coaching to management and executive personnel.  Additional activities include seminars on Stress Management, Interpersonal Relations and Negotiation Skills.  Custom-designed workshops on Performance Appraisal, Coaching and Counseling, Conflict Resolution, Leadership Behavior are regularly presented.  Currently, Jack is active as a behavioral scientist/consultant blending multi-cultural executive and management teams for an expanded global marketplace.   

His current professional practice also includes working with families to facilitate trans-generational agreements (i.e. Constitutions) that will provide continuity for family members who have experienced significant wealth enhancement. These family team activities include facilitation, coaching and personal development for the effective integration of all family members. 

Jack has researched and authored the Life Space Analysis Profile (LSAP), a PC interactive learning program on the balance among personal, family, social and business priorities.  Jack has authored CD-ROM and web-based series on Organizational Change with topics including Conflict Resolution and Coaching Practices.
